ROSSMOOR TREE INVENTORY

For several years now, Jim and Peggy Pearson, have been compiling an inventory of trees in Rossmoor. The Dollar family planted trees from many countries around their home, creating a Dollar Park Arboretum. As Rossmoor was developed numerous trees were planted all over the property. The heritage Valley Oak and the Coast Live Oak trees, native to California, have been here for a long time, almost 150-250 years.

Jim designed and produced the wooden tree plaques, simple and elegant, that fit in so naturally into the environment. You can see them on trees in Dollar Park, Event Center, Creekside, Gateway, Golf Course and many other locations.

The tree plaque list below is just a beginning and we hope that Jim and Peggy will continue to add to it.
