A recent study shows that it is actually people over 55 that are most engaged in climate and environmental action! In other words, it is people like YOU and the rest of us at Rossmoor that are really getting things done !

Get Involved with Sustainable Rossmoor !!

At Sustainable Rossmoor you will find a group of like-minded people who are passionate about making a difference. The club's activities include
  • a monthly meeting -- at 7pm on the first Tuesday of every month, usually in the Fairway Room at Creekside Clubhouse -- check the Calendar.
    We usually start with socializing at 6:30. We then have an informative and inspiring speaker, or a discussion on a topic of current importance to Rossmoor. 
  • a variety of committees where groups of members can organize themselves to work on projects of common interest.
    If you don't see a committee working on the issue that you are passionate about, you can form your own committee -- and the Club will support you.
  • a Film Series on environmental and climate change issues -- on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7 PM in the Peacock Theater
  • occasional special events like picnics, field trips, tree or creek walks, and an Earth Day Celebration.
